Neil Riordan, Ph.D.,
Chairman and President

Dr. Riordan is an experienced, accomplished scientist/entrepreneur. He possesses broad experience in both the management of healthcare companies and in implementing novel medical protocols and treatments. He has directed one of the nations' leading cancer laboratories for 10 years, Project RECNAC of The Center for the Improvement of Human Functioning, and he has proven himself a successful entrepreneur with the launching and/or development of five commercial enterprises in health care related fields, each of which are currently in operation. In addition to his development skills, he is also an accomplished scientist with several issued and pending patents in the fields of stem cells and cancer and publications in many prestigious journals, including British Journal of Cancer and Medical Hypotheses.

Thomas Ichim, Ph.D.,
CEO

Dr. Ichim has served a variety of oversight roles for companies operating in the area of biologics. He obtained numerous regulatory approvals for companies such as MarrowTech Pharma, and worked as a Program Director for the global CRO bioRASI, under which he led efforts to develop, clinically assess, and approve various stem cell and cellular therapies. Ichim has also founded two companies, ToleroTech Inc. and MedVax Pharma Corp., which are developing proprietary technologies in the areas of RNA interference and cancer vaccines, respectively. Ichim is a member of Vendevia Partners, a venture development fund through which he has played a pivotal role in new start-up formation, most recently in the establishment and financing of OncoMune, an epigenetic cancer therapy company. Ichim was an invitee to a recent government-sponsored California-Canada trade mission and has been instrumental in establishing Medistem's extensive collaborative network. In addition to corporate responsibilities, Ichim is an accomplished scientist with numerous publications, including his participation in the award-winning publication on the discovery of the ERC cells, the basis for Medistem's core products.

Roger M. Nocera, M.D.,
Director

Dr. Nocera has enjoyed a hugely successful career as a physician, scientist and entrepreneur. Nocera, like Riordan, is among the first to realize the profound importance of stem cell therapies, especially in his specialty, antiaging. He is medical director and owner of the renowned Nocera Antiaging Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. He founded and remains the medical director of MRI and CT at Arcadia Radiology &Open MRI, Ltd. in Phoenix. Nocera received his B.S. with Distinction from the University of Arizona, his M.D. from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and he then completed a four-year residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He also completed a one-year fellowship in computed tomography and breast cancer detection at the UT Galveston Branch and a second fellowship in Radiological Pathology at the famed Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Washington, D.C. He is board certified in radiology and antiaging.

Scott Sullinger,
Director

Mr. Sullinger has been employed as a partner at Egon Zehnder International, an executive search and board consulting firm, since March 2007. From March 2004 to March 2007, Mr. Sullinger was Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at NeoMagic Corporation, a multimedia semiconductor company. Prior to joining NeoMagic, Mr. Sullinger was director of finance at ON Semiconductor, a provider of power and data management semiconductors and standard semiconductor components. Before joining ON Semiconductor, Mr. Sullinger spent seven years in investment banking, most recently as Vice President of Technology investment banking at Morgan Stanley, in Menlo Park , California . Mr. Sullinger previously worked as an auditor and as a senior consultant at the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse. He has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California , Los Angeles , where he graduated cum laude, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Columbia University . He is a Certified Public Accountant.
